With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on WBC with each other through the WBC service, without disclosing their email addresses. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, WBC allows users to search for other members using first and last name, and email address

We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their "notification" settings in the user "Account Settings"

Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate. We may transfer personal information to certain ad partners that you have explicitly requested to receive information from. 4) Will WBC Disclose Any of Your Personal Information?

Without your affirmative consent on a case by case basis, we do not sell, rent or otherwise share your personally identifiably information with other third parties except

Instead, to the extent we share information with our partners and advertisers, we share only aggregated information consolidated by geographic location, industry interests that is not linked to your personally identifiable information. . For example, we might tell an advertiser that there are 120,000 WBC members in Miami, but we will not tell them that Sonny Crockett is one of them, nor will we tell them that his email address is sonny@vicesquad.com.

We may also use this aggregated information to help the advertisers reach the kind of audience they want. They may give us an ad and tell us the type of audience they want to reach (for example, males in the 12314 ZIP code). WBC (or people working on our behalf, under contracts and confidentiality agreements) would then take the ad and display it to users who have told us they meet those criteria. We may also disclose aggregate information (for example, information showing that 1.2MM of our members clicked on a particular Web advertising banner last month) in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.

Required Disclosures: Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement (see below), WBC will not disclose personal information to any third party unless required by law or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with a current judicial proceeding, search warrant, a court order or other legal process served on our website or company, (b) enforce this Policy or the Terms of Service Agreement or to protect our rights, (c) respond to claims that your Personal Information violates the rights of third parties; or (d) protect the rights, property or personal safety of WBC, its users and the public. You authorize us to disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property. WBC reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of WBC or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.

As for individually identifiable information, we may disclose it only under the following circumstances:

- We may disclose information to others when we have your consent. If you sign up for a special offer from an advertiser, we will provide your individual contact information so that the advertiser or its agent can fulfill the special offer. Once the advertiser receives the information, it will handle the information under its own privacy policies. If you do not want a particular advertiser to have your personal information, then you should not sign up for that advertiser's offer.

- If you sign up for a service that relies upon third parties for important elements, we will provide your personal information to the third parties so that they can provide you with their services, and those companies will treat the data under their own policies. We will tell you about these service providers at the time you sign up for the service.

- We may disclose information to selected partners, under nondisclosure agreements, only for the purpose of marketing WBC co-branded offerings Those partners will be able to use the personal information they receive from us only for marketing the co-branded offerings, not for marketing anything else. If you then sign up for a co-branded product from our partner, the information you provide to that company will be subject to the partner's own privacy policies. If you would prefer not to hear about such products and services, simply go to our opt-out page and let us know.

- If you buy something from us, we will disclose your personal information to the extent necessary to fulfill your order and charge your credit card (if applicable). We may use a fulfillment company to fill and ship your order and a credit card processing company to verify your card number and process the transaction. We may also give your information to a delivery or postal service so that it can get your order to you.

-If you use WBC to email content to a friend, WBC will automatically send this person a one-time email, with the recommended profile, report, or other content attached. The email address you give us will appear on the "From" line of the email, thereby disclosing this information to whoever opens and reads the email. Similarly, if you send email from our site, by using "Email this Profile" or "Email this Post," your address may appear as the return address of that email.

We may sometimes conduct mailings to other people's lists.

To make it easier for us to comply with the Federal CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, we may share our email list of people who have requested not to receive promotional communications from us with the list providers (or contractors) solely so that we can avoid sending emails to people who have asked not to receive them (or, conversely, so that our advertisers can avoid sending emails to people who have requested not to hear from them). We provide these lists only to list providers or contractors that we consider to be reputable, and only under strict nondisclosure/nonuse agreements.

We may disclose personal information in some other limited circumstances, but we will specifically describe them to you when we collect the information, such as in the rules of a contest or a new service. For example, if we are going to give personal information to a contest's sponsor, we will disclose it when you sign up for the contest, so that you can decide whether to enter.

We may employ contractors or other third parties to help with our operations. We may give them access to databases of user information, so that they can perform their services for us, including performing system maintenance, displaying personalized content, performing list analysis or management, or sending mailings for us from our advertisers. These parties are all subject to confidentiality agreements that restrict their use and disclosure of information they obtain through their relationship with WBC.

The ads appearing on this Website are delivered to you by DoubleClick or another Web advertising partner. Information about your visits to wealthbasecamp.com, such as the number of times you have viewed an ad (but not your name, address, or other personal information), is used to serve ads to you. For more information about DoubleClick and how to opt-out of their tracking methods, please click here.

WBC and its subsidiaries may share information for site administration or order fulfillment, and to notify you of products and services that may interest you. If you would prefer not to hear about such products and services, simply go to our opt-out page and let us know.

How do we use "IP addresses" and "Cookies"?

IP Addresses

Your Web browser or email application automatically provides your Internet Protocol address ("IP address") to other computers with which you communicate over the Internet, so that they know where to send you information.

We receive an IP address each time you view one of our Web pages, because the browser automatically reports it to us. We also may store the IP address when you register with WBC, post a message, sign up for an event or group, or buy something from us.

We may use IP addresses for various purposes, including:
- Diagnosing service or technology problems.
- Assessing and maintaining system security.
- Displaying the most appropriate advertising or content.
- Studying how people use our site and how we can improve it.
- Reporting to advertisers about aggregate, but not individual, information derived from IP addresses.

Cookies

Cookies are used on our sites in the following ways:

We use cookies to access your stored account information automatically when you log on to our site, in order to deliver a better and more personalized service.

We use cookies to estimate our audience size and usage patterns. The unique cookie that is given to each browser accessing WBC is then used to determine usage patterns and help us target content and ads based upon user interests.

We use cookies to allow you to access your account information automatically, as well as make changes to your personal information.

Our search engines may use cookies to expedite your search for content or products.

In the course of serving advertisements to this site, our Web advertising partner, may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser.

Some of our advertisers use third-party networks to serve their advertisements on our sites and in our HTML-formatted newsletters. Often, these third-party advertising companies use cookies, Web beacons, and similar technologies to measure advertisement effectiveness. We do not control, nor do we have access to, their cookies or the information they obtain. Use of their tracking technology is subject to their own privacy policies. If you would like more information about the privacy policies of third-party advertising networks, including information on how to opt out of their tracking methods, check out http://www.networkadvertising.org/optout_nonppii.asp.

Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can configure yours to refuse cookies or notify you when you've received one. Browsers differ, so check your "Help" menu to learn how to change your cookie preferences. If you reject cookies on our sites, though, you will not be able to access all areas of them or use many of their features, including our discussion boards and portfolio tracker. When you accept our cookies, we cannot use them to find out who you really are, unless you tell us. For more information about cookies, read the unofficial Cookie FAQ from CookieCentral.com

Besides cookies, we may also use tiny electronic images (called "single-pixel GIFs" or "Web beacons"), which allow us to count users who have visited specific pages or access certain cookies. We may use single-pixel GIFs in the following ways:
- To count and recognize users.
- To conduct research on behalf of some partners on their websites, and for auditing purposes.
- To determine aggregate information about users, including demographic and usage information.
- To determine which email messages were opened and/or acted upon when we send HTML-formatted email messages (messages resembling Web pages that include graphics).

Advertising networks that serve ads on our site may also use single-pixel GIFs in their advertisements. In general, any electronic image viewed as part of a Web page, including an ad banner, can act as a Web beacon.

Use of Cookies

WBC uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. You may be able to configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set -- each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences -- however, you must enable cookies from WBC in order to use most functions on the site Please note that WBC allows 3rd party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not the WBC Privacy Policy.

One type of cookie, known as a "persistent" cookie, is set once you've logged in to your WBC account. The next time you visit the WBC web site, the persistent cookie will allow us to recognize you as an existing user so you will not need to log in before using the service. In order to access or change any of your private information (like a credit card number), however, you must log in securely again with your password even if your computer contains your persistent cookie. Additionally, if you log out of the WBC site you will need to re-enter your password the next time you visit in order to log in to your account. Another type of cookie, called a "session" cookie, is used to identify a particular visit to the WBC site. Session cookies expire after a short time or when you close your web browser.

Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when you visit the WBC web site we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave WBC. We also receive the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system and type of web browser you are using, as well as the name of your ISP. This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the WBC service. The linkage between your IP address and your personally identifiable information is never shared with third-parties without your permission or except when required by law.

Web Beacons:

We allow other companies, called ad networks, to serve advertisements to WBC users. Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms. WBC may "target" some ads to users that fit a certain general profile — for example, "real estate owners in Colorado." WBC does NOT use personally identifiable information to target ads.

To deliver these ads properly, WBC may include a file, called a web beacon, from these ad networks within pages served by WBC so the networks may provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for advertisers as well as to target ads to you while you visit other websites.

Because your web browser must request these advertisements and web beacons from the ad network's servers, these companies can view, edit or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site.

These general targets may also be used by ad networks to display targeted ads on other websites as a substitute for random, irrelevant ads. You will never see additional ads as a result of being a WBC user and WBC never provides personally identifiable information to any advertiser nor any third party.

You may opt-out of use of Web beacons in WBC pages that you view and of placement of a cookie by ad networks in your browser. To opt-out click here and go to the "Advertising" section at the bottom and change the setting there to "No".

If you opt-out you will lose the potential benefit of receiving ads that are more targeted to your interests.

Privacy Policies of Third Party Advertising and Links

Ads appearing on this Web site may be delivered to users by WBC or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by WBC and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.
